Codiac Transpo is operated by the City of Moncton's Department of Public Transit on behalf of the City of Moncton, City of Dieppe and Town of Riverview in the Province of New Brunswick, Canada.[1]
The transit system provides local bus service for the residents of the Greater Moncton area and bus charter service throughout southeastern portions of the province. There are also plans to extend the service to outlying communities surrounding the Greater Moncton area such as Salisbury, Shediac, Cocagne, and Bouctouche with the provision of park and ride lots.[2] Intercity bus passenger transportation, to other destinations throughout the maritime provinces, is provided by Acadian Lines.

There are currently 26 regularly scheduled routes which all operate from Monday to Saturday, with some of them providing additional evening and Sunday service. An Express route runs from the Northwest Centre down Mountain Road to Main at Weldon and on to Champlain Place, seven days a week.[3]
Codiac Transit, in partnership with the City of Moncton, offers free wireless Internet on all of the buses servicing its bus routes. Initially, four buses on the Express Route were equipped with onboard broadband Internet and the buses were marked with lime green WiFi signage, but this has since been expanded to the whole fleet.
This innovative service, a first in Canada, is offered free of charge and is available to anyone who has WiFi enabled technology. Not only does it allow riders to enjoy some entertainment like browsing the web while riding, but it offers a powerful tool to enable riders to plan their trips more effectively. This system is designed to show interactively, and in real time, where your bus is located on the route. No longer will riders have to wait at their bus stop and wonder where their bus is. While riding a wifi enabled bus, they can see how long they will have to wait to catch their transfer.[4]
